Meet Marqo
Marqo provides an embedding cloud for AI engineers to train, embed, and retrieve vector embeddings in one platform. This, in turn, lets them incorporate AI into their applications to provide better ecommerce product search and recommendations, with fewer hallucinations.
Our Story
Working with visual search and robotics at Amazon, we had to build new ways to do product discovery, and that very quickly converged on vector search. In robotics, we used multi-modal search to search through many of our images to identify if there were errant things like hoses and packages.
But, as powerful as vector search was, it took us a lot of time and effort to deploy it. We realized that vector search could be instrumental in realizing the full potential of AI in our day-to-day lives, but it had to be made easier for developers and enterprises. We saw a need to invent a platform that not only generated superior vector embeddings, but also empowered customers to build advanced search experiences within hours, not months. So, we started Marqo.
